Blog 9: Music

Hi again!

About my musical interests, I always said that I didn't like a genre in specific, but then I realized that the songs I liked and like until now are among Rock Music and Pop Music, I think because of the rhythms of the drums and the guitar arrangements, or the catchy tunes :). I use to listen music from the 70s to the present (in english or spanish), and generally the new music I discover is by listening the radio, YouTube, and more recently, Spotify.

I like the chilean music a lot too: "Los Bunkers", "Los Tres", "Inti Illimani", "Gepe", among others. But there is one group that I have enjoyed a lot since I listened it for the first time a few years earlier, in 2016. They are "Ases Falsos". At the beginning, the group was known as "Fother Muckers", until 2011, when they changed it by the present band's name, which is also the name of one of their songs, realeased in the album "Justo y Necesario" (2008). "Ases falsos" is conformed by Cristóbal Briceño, Simón Sánchez, Martín del Real, Francisco Rojas and Daniel de la Fuente.

I like this band because they have interesting lyrics, generally about social issues (a friend told me once that they got inspired by the news). Also, I like their music in general, which has a marked style.

Their albums are "Juventud Americana" (2012), "Conducción" (2014), "El Hombre Puede" (2016) and "Mala Fama" (2018). Of them, "Conducción" is my favorite one, with songs like "Simetría" and "Niña Por Favor".

Thanks for reading, and see you soon!
